Favourite thing to do on the weekend?  Saturdays at the studio is such a vibe! I love being there, then heading home to my beautiful family is the end of a perfect day. Sundays we love to head out somewhere special and explore or just be together as a family.

Favourite food? – Asian food

Best place to go on holiday?  I went to Europe for my 40th, Sweden, Paris, and Norway. My fave place I’ve been to is Cinque Terre.

Favourite dance genre? Lounge room dancing… the type you do when no one is home watching!  We do this in class with the smaller classes and we LOVE it!!! Everyone should learn how to lounge room dance!

MISS TAHLIA

I started dancing at the age of 5 in Brisbane, performing in all genres including Jazz, Modern/Lyrical, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Partnering, Musical Theatre, Classical, Pointe, Acting & Singing.

I completed many Jazz , Ballet & Musical Theatre syllabus exams including Grades 1 to 9 in CSTD Jazz. Whilst completing years 11 & 12 at high school, I also completed her Certificate III in Dance, with full time training at Dance Force on the Gold Coast.

I have performed at many events including featured/ensemble dancer at the Toyota Gala Night featuring Singer Ricki-Lee Coulter, Braveheart’s Gala, Royal; Brisbane Show, Myer and David Jones Christmas Parades and Lighting of the Tree in King George Square.

Favourite thing to do on the weekend?  Spend time with friends & family. Also, sleep & relax 🙂

Favourite food? Any type of Mexican food.

Best place to go on a holiday?  Definitely all around Europe. Especially Greece!

Favourite dance genre? Jazz or Lyrical.

Favourite quote?  Trust the wait, Embrace the uncertainty…

 

MISS COURTNEY

Courtney has been a mover and groover since she could walk, with the dance studio becoming her second home in no time. 

Courtney has studied all genres of dance including Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theatre, Ballet, Pointe, Partnering, Acro, Acting and Singing. She has completed her Royal Academy of Dance Pre Primary to Advanced 2 Ballet Exams and She studied at ED5 International graduating in 2020 with an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts. 

Courtney’s credits include; 2020 Mardi Gras Parade, The 2018 Commonwealth Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies, 2019 Save our Sons Gala Ball, Dance Captain of Carols in the Domain 2020 & 2022 2020 Arnott’s Foundation Gala Ball, and Featured Dancer/Swing in Packemin Productions ‘Mamma Mia the Musical’ 

Favourite Thing to do on the Weekend?  Catching up with friends and family, Reading and the Beach

Favourite Food?  Chocolate (Im a massive sweet tooth!) 

Best Place to go on a Holiday?  New York City

MISS KEELY

Keely Burden commenced her ballet training with Tanya Pearson at Sydney City Ballet school.

After winning the MacDonald scholarship at 16 she was awarded a scholarship to study at the Australia Ballet School in Melbourne.

Keely danced professionally in Seoul, Korea, for a short period of time before returning to Australia to Complete her qualification as an RAD ballet teacher and Progression Ball technique PBT

Favourite food? Pizza and Japanese

Holiday destination? Bali

Favourite dance style?  All types of DANCING 🙂

MISS GISELLE

I began dancing when she was 4 years old. I performed in several productions with Gold Coast Youth Ballet, Gold Coast Dancers Company before being accepted into four European Ballet Schools and a scholarship to John Neumeier’s Hamburg Ballet School at age 16. After graduating from Hamburg, I also had the opportunity to perform in several ballets with the company, and then my career took me to Vienna State Opera Ballet, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Slovak National Ballet and as a Soloist to Regensburg Ballet, Coburg Ballet, Magdeburg Ballet, Ballet Linz and Lunenburg Ballet. I have had the opportunity to perform in many of the great classics including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty, as well as in contemporary and modern works, some that were created just for me. I have been teaching for 14 years as well, & some of my students were accepted into European Ballet Schools.

Favourite thing to do on the weekend? Go to the beach, watch movies, spend time with my family.

Favourite food? Steak, potato bake and salad.

Best place to go on holiday? Anywhere sunny, hot & on the beach or a city with lots of culture like Prague.

Favourite dance genre: Definitely ballet.

MISS JORJA

I am a teacher at Tahnee and The Treehouse and Cloudland. My favourite styles to teach are Hip Hop, Jazz and Broadway. I love teaching because I adore sharing my passion and experience with younger like minded students who live for dance. I completed Cert lll in dance at a full time studio. I also own my own beauty business.

Favorite thing to do on the weekend?  Spending time with family & resetting for the next week.

Favorite food? All fruits

Best place to go on a holiday? My next adventure is Thailand

Favorite quote?  A negative mind will never give you a positive life.

 

MISS EMMA

I have been dancing since I was 3 training primarily in ballet. When I was 12 I moved to Dynamite Studios and completed my extensive training of Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop & Circus Arts. After completing my Fulltime year and Advanced 2 RAD ballet exam, I secured an overseas contract with Celebrity Cruises working onboard Celebrity Summit as a Production Cast Dancer. After returning home I found a passion for creativity and choreography. I am extremely passionate about giving the next generation of dancers knowledge in technique, strength and confidence.
