SKY Youth Theatre is dedicated to providing young performers with exceptional opportunities and training in the art of ACTING and PERFORMANCE. Our mission is to deliver professional, modern, & exciting performance experiences, guided by a team of highly professional directors and choreographers, most of them with over 30+ years in the industry
We are deeply committed to inclusivity and diversity in every aspect of our productions & with our student’s experiences. Time and again, we have seen that when young performers are given the chance to feel truly seen, to feel safe, and supported, they flourish! Not only as artists but as individuals.
A MUSICAL STREAM
NOT JUST A MUSICAL
Our Musical Theatre Stream is held over 3 terms with intense training in the art of theatre and stage acting, singing, dancing and culminating in the live stage production.
Designed to help students gain confidence with auditions, to learn about scripts and how to read them, to develop balance and strength as a performer, they will also receive top-level training in voice, movement, dance, music theory, script reading, stage craft and terminology, mics and their use and so much more.
And to learn how to dance, sing and act for the stage!
WHEN AND WHERE
NORTH AND SOUTH
We will run the SKY YOUTH THEATRE Musical Stream at both of our venues during Terms Three & Four 2026, and Term One 2027.
We have both JUNIOR and SENIOR PRODUCTIONS, suitable for all ages.
Our Musical Stream is inclusive of everything! Training, costumes, program for the show, scripts, professional photos and headshots, school holiday workshops, a cast TShirt, work manuals and all rehearsals.
ALL STUDENTS IN OUR MUSICAL STREAM will be included in the performance of our chosen Musicals for each year.

Each year we enter our Musicals into the prestigious GOLD PALM THEATRE AWARDS and we receive many nominations. We have been finalists in many sections, and in 2025 we WON the GOLD PALM AWARD for Magical Moment in Theatre (against professional and amateur theatre companies all over QLD & NSW).

ACTING 2 CAMERA & ACTING CLASSES
NOT JUST MUSICALS, WE MAKE MOVIES TOO!
Every year our students in our ACTING 2 CAMERA and ACTING classes will have the opportunity to be part of the making of a short film.
They will help with script writing, they will audition for lead roles, and then will join us on a real film set to experience the magic of movie making!
