Our Queen!

Our cute is this little Queen. 

She has just moved her tribe into the new High-rise Bee house paid for with donations from Tahnee and the Treehouse.

She has a beautiful bright green spot on her head.

The bee breeders put a small dob of colour on the queen bees heads with a floor marker,  so that they can record what year they were born.

Sometimes the queen’s maids don’t like it and they clean the colour off her head, so it doesn’t always work, but our little queen is still wearing her bright green hat so that means she was born in 2019. 

She’s two!! 

So grownup and ready to make lots of babies.
